     The knife shown here has a double edged, spear point blade with a central ridge.  This double edged blade style is made strictly as a fighting knife.  A knife without a spine on the backside does not serve well for skinning, cutting or chopping.

     This particular example is sixteen inches long.  The cross guard is forged from the same piece of iron as the blade, the tang of which passes through an iron ferrule and wooden grip with a bulbous flare.  The grip is crosshatched for added grip.  It is sheathed in its original scabbard. 

     Both the scabbard and the knife are completely original, unaltered and in extraordinarily good condition.

     The knife has a wonderful look and is Flawless!
