    The sponge cover shown here is for the 12 Pound Napoleon.  I purchased this item for my own collection years ago from William Leigh.  William told me it was Confederate at the time and how he could tell; however, I do not recall the details.  I no longer have the cannon and do not normally deal in items like this.  I do not know its value so I am pricing it at what I paid for it years ago, just to break even, as it was never intended as inventory.  What I am saying is, do your own research on this one; I do not have the time.
